STEVEN NOVAK : Born in Chicago Illinois, Steven Novak has spent the whole of his life creating. After attending The Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus Ohio for four years he moved to California where he married his wife. The pair have been together for nearly ten years. While working as a freelance illustrator and graphic artist, with occasional product and web design, he produced several successful blogs and began to slowly piece together the story that would eventually become "Forts." The first in a series of three, "Forts" is an intensely personal piece of fantasy that intertwines aspects of horror and science fiction as well. Two years after completing work on the first of three novels, and less than a month after finishing the second, he was able to find a publisher willing to take a chance on the somewhat unconventional piece of work. He has no intention of looking back.
